Meet Kelley & Paul

Twelve years ago we were two kids getting married ourselves with an appreciation for filmmaking and love for people. A combination of these experiences and talents is what led us to creating 618 Studios, a boutique cinema company specializing in weddings & events. At the core of our approach, we whole-heartedly believe in creating captivating & genuine stories, something as unique and special as each of our clients wedding experience and personal story.

Our couples love that we are a husband & wife team and have experienced the milestone season they are currently in as it allows us to capture weddings from a completely different perspective than many other companies. Working alongside each other has been so rewarding (nearly 500 weddings!) and being able to share that experience with our clients is even greater.

 
 
 
 

It's truly unique to work with a team that is with you through each step of the way. From booking, to filming, to editing, and delivery, we are the ones executing each process; giving our clients peace to mind that we know they vision and have experienced their wedding day alongside them. As a boutique company, we inherently value a more personal and quality approach and choose to only booking a select number of events this year. This ensures that each client receives the attention they deserve while also allowing for full wedding weekend coverage on select collections.

FAQs

  • Wonderful! To reserve your date we will begin by putting together an agreement with your chosen cinema collection. Once the agreement is signed & completed with a 30% retainer, your date(s) will be reserved.

  • Our style is organic with an editorial touch so that we can capture all of the real moments & emotions of the day. Our coverage generally begins during final touch ups and continues through reception formalities. During each event & transition our goal is to blend in make the process as easy as possible while ensuring we meeting every need.

  • Yes! Raw footage is offered for purchase alongside any of our four collections. It consists of all high quality video footage and professional audio tracks that were captured throughout your events. From there, we prepare the footage for you by organizing it within labelled folders for easy finding and deliver by choice of digital download or packaged USB.

  • Music is such an intricate part of the editing process and we personally pour hours into searching and selecting the perfect soundtracks. As professionals, we are obligated to source music that is licensable while giving independent artists the credit and recognition they deserve. We welcome genre suggestions from our clients so that we can take that into consideration while in the editing room.

  • Absolutely! We are very flexible if your desired coverage or film deliverables change as your approach your wedding weekend or even afterwards so you never need to feel the pressure to selecting the perfect collection upon booking.

  • Of course! We actually encourage our clients to explore this route as no two weddings are the same. Tailored proposals are available upon request. Please let us know if we can put together a custom collection for you!

  • Our turnaround time is just 8-12 weeks from your events depending on the season and current backlog. However, your 1 minute teaser is shared with you just 2 weeks after your event!
